Porta is an independent guest check-in platform built to help organisers move smoothly from a spreadsheet guest list to a well-run front door. Porta launched publicly on 25 October 2026. In Hong Kong and Macau, iPad Rental Hong Kong provides the local hardware and event support needed to put Porta to work at the venue.
From guest list to a confident welcome
Many events begin with a familiar Excel or CSV guest list. Porta Dashboard’s intelligent import turns messy Excel workbooks and CSV files into organised guest lists. Organisers can review the imported details and give the reception team a clear check-in workflow on Porta Frontline for iPad.
At the door, teams can:
- find guests by name, company or group with intelligent, multilingual search;
- scan QR codes for fast arrivals;
- manage party attendance and plus-ones;
- add walk-in guests when needed; and
- correct check-in records without disrupting the queue.
The result is a calmer welcome for guests and a clearer operating picture for the organiser.
Guest check-in technology built for a busy front door
Large arrivals rarely happen at one desk. Porta supports an unlimited number of iPads working together across one or more entrances, helping reception teams stay coordinated as guest numbers rise.
Venue connectivity can also be unpredictable. Porta Frontline is designed to keep supporting the check-in team through weak Wi-Fi and to synchronise safely when the connection improves. Organisers can follow attendance during the event and export clean attendance information afterwards.

Porta provides the check-in technology. iPad Rental Hong Kong provides the local equipment and practical support for events in Hong Kong and Macau.
Depending on the event, this can include prepared iPads, suitable stands, connectivity equipment, delivery, collection and local technical assistance. We will help determine a suitable setup based on the venue, guest volume, number of entrances and operating requirements.

A focused tool that fits the event
Porta concentrates on the work around guest arrival: preparing the guest list, coordinating check-in stations, recording attendance and producing a reliable result. Organisers do not need to replace their complete event-management process simply to improve check-in.
As Porta grows internationally, it will work with local hardware and support partners in other markets. Our role is to support Porta projects here in Hong Kong and Macau with the equipment and local knowledge event teams need.
